Brand Development

Wellero was a health care startup app that gives consumers the ability to pay their doctors and health care claims from their mobile devices. It also makes it possible to see procedure costs before having treatment. For health care providers, Wellero reduces paperwork and gets them paid more quickly.

The Goal:
Prior to launch, Wellero needed help understanding whether their company idea was viable in the eyes of the health care consumer and health care providers. Would they use the app and would they pay for the ac­cessibility?

The Work:
We began with qualitative research by giving health care providers a prototype. The prototype allowed us to see how they interacted with the app, informing us of the app’s viability.

The Result:
While developing the foundational research, we created a name and brand identity that poised Wellero to stand apart in a crowded health care startup space.
